Beat The Band is a brand new concept for events , parties and venues. An interactive pop music quiz with a fully live band which encourages audience participation. Beat The Band is a fun ice breaker at any event. The music quiz can be adapted to fit any audience or style of event and consists of rounds in which the band play the pieces of music relevant to the quiz sheets.

What Is The Beat The Band Format?

Beat The Band is usually presented in six rounds which start with pop quiz questions played by the band and gradually builds up to involve the audience in the evening with audience members being brought on stage to sing with the band and perform dance routines. Beat The Band rounds include a riffs round where the audience have to guess the name of the song that riff comes from, a TV themes round with famous TV themes played by the band and lots of other fantastic interactive pieces.

What Kind Of Events Does Beat The Band Work At?

Beat The Band has been a massive success at corporate functions and the beauty of the format is it can be tweaked to suit the audience. It works great as a team building exercise or as an add on to an awards ceremony or dinner. Beat The Band have also completed two seasons of work at holiday centres around the UK performing for a family audience. Beat The Band , combined with a party band set, has been a big hit at weddings and parties and Beat The Band can also be booked to run alongside a Rockaoke AKA Live Karaoke Band.

What Does The Client Need To Provide For Beat The Band?

The client just needs to provide a safe environment to perform in along with some plug points and an audience ready to be entertained. Beat The Band will provide the rest. For parties of 200 or under the band can bring PA system and lighting. The Beat The Band team are fully self contained and will bring quiz sheets with them on the night.
